On Saturday 18th October, the ladies recorded their award-winning performance of “The Gap” at the Simpson Street Studio in Northumberland. Lyrics to this piece were written by Dorothy Curry to commemorate the famous Sycamore Gap Tree and set to music by Emily. It’s a tribute to how far they have come and how hard they have worked that they could confidently perform this complex, a cappella, six-part-harmony composition. It was great for the choir to hear themselves back, and to really understand the differences those tiny nuances make! We’re looking forward to sharing the results with everyone!
